Willoughby Public School has proudly partnered with Cromehurst School for over 30 years through an engaging and interactive learning program. Each year, two of our Stage 3 students are paired with students from Cromehurst’s junior classes.

Together, our students enjoy a variety of activities such as painting, arts and crafts, obstacle courses, climbing on play equipment, bubble blowing, and bike riding. These activities are thoughtfully planned and supervised by staff from both Willoughby Public School and Cromehurst, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Each Willoughby buddy keeps a communication book, which they use to share weekly updates with their Cromehurst buddy’s parents and carers, ensuring families stay connected and informed. The communication book also allows our students to learn more about their buddy’s interests, preferences, and family.

This valuable program runs throughout the entire school year and continues to provide meaningful beefits for all students involved.
