Student opportunities and activities
At Willoughby Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts

Stage 3 - Camp
2025 saw year 5 and year 6 travelling to Canberra for their 2025 Camp.
West Head
After a few delays due to rain - students embarked on their exciting excursion to West Head. Students ventured through the park, they were introduced to a wealth of significant rock engravings along the Basin Track and the renowned Red Hands Cave.
PSSA Gala
This year a select few student were selected to participate in this years PSSA Gala spread across Term 2 and Term 3.
Student were selected for either AFL, Netball, Soccer or a Sports Gala day.
Minecraft Club - Trial
This year saw us trialing a Minecraft Club for 12 lucky students. This saw a huge positive response from both teachers and students.
Cross Country
Term 2 held the Cross Country were 40 students from Willoughby represented the school in this years North Shore Zone Cross Country.
