Before your child starts Kindergarten

Enrolment interview

Before your child begins, every family meets with a member of our school leadership team. This is much more than paperwork. It is our first chance to get to know your child as an individual: their personality, their strengths, how they learn best, and anything that will help us make their start a happy one.

It is also the time to tell us about the practical things that help us put the right support in place from day one, such as:

• your child's health, including any allergies or medical needs
• any additional learning or wellbeing support your child may benefit from
• anything happening at home that we should be aware of as your child settles in

Everything you share helps us plan a smooth, positive transition, so that when your child walks through our gates on their first morning, they are walking into a school that already knows them.

You will be emailed an interview booking link once  your child has been registered for enrolment.

Kindergarten orientation and information sessions

Everything about our orientation program is designed to set your child up for a positive and successful start to school.

Starting school is easier when it already feels familiar. Our orientation sessions give your child the chance to spend time in a real Kindergarten classroom before their first day, getting to know the teachers, making early friendships, and trying out the little routines of school life.

These sessions matter for us too. They are when we begin to know your child, discovering their personality, strengths and interests, which helps us thoughtfully plan the right support for a smooth transition.

While the children are busy, parents and carers join our information sessions. We will walk you through everything you need to feel ready too: what a school day looks like, uniforms, lunchboxes, drop-off and pick-up, and how we will keep in touch with you throughout the year. There will be plenty of time for questions.

All sessions run from 9.30 am to 10.30 am.

Week 3: Tuesday 27 October or Thursday 29 October

Week 4: Tuesday 3 November or Thursday 5 November

Week 5: Tuesday 10 November or Thursday 12 November
